A Little About Me
Hi! I am Lacie Ranae from “Lacie the Cookie Cutter.” I’m a self-taught cookier who grew up decorating Christmas sugar cookies with my grandmother, mother and two sisters. No one was a match for my detailed trees and santas ;). I accidentally started this business in January 2019 when I was asked to make cookies for a baby shower and the rest is history. I’ve always been very creative and an avid painter so once I got a taste of the custom cookie world, I was hooked. I treat all my cookies as tiny art projects.
I grew up in Montgomery, AL but I’ve run my home-based food cottage bakery kind of everywhere. Besides making sugar cookies, I am pursing my career in marketing. I was the Event Coordinator for 8 bar/restaurant locations, and I did some operations management as well! Being busy is my favorite, but I’m glad to have taken a step back so that I can get back to doing more cookies!
My goal is to create custom cookies for any occasion and to bring my client’s vision to life! Every order is a special project with emphasis on taste and detail. In my opinion, nothing is worse than a really beautiful cookie that tastes like crap :/. I have recently started sharing my favorite hobby with others in cookie classes! I do both private and have done some public classes at my old bar POST Crafted Cocktails. (see more in the classes tab!)
